Dana and I had a very good time on our (pre) anniversary date night...
Of course, what's a night out without a little drama... Ours started when she came to pick me up! She had bought the tickets online and was supposed to print them from her email - but then forgot. We had to access her email and try to print them from the church when she picked me up (later than she was supposed to). We eventually got it all figured out, but it was a crazy 30 minutes and pretty much sums up what being married to each other for 16 years has been like :)
We were too late to go eat someplace, but we weren't that hungry anyway, so after a quick in and out at Starbucks for me, we ended up at Logan's Bar and had some Queso (with beef) that was pretty awesome. She got a coke too and when I went to pay it was less than $4!! Happy hour half off...lol Then we went to the show at the Paramount and our seats literally were on the back row of the theater. But about 5 minutes before it started, the ushers told everyone to move down closer so we moved to great seats about a 100 rows closer! Afterwards we drove to the Cheesecake factory for dessert and coffee and a brief walk around the arboretum (cause Dana was cold). It was really a lovely evening...
Dana's favorite comic of the night was Henry Cho. I liked Cho a lot too, but I was most impressed with Mike Rayburn. You can see their clips below...
I enjoyed reading this on my drive to the office. sounds like you guys had a great time with a little comedy of your own.
