Getting Missional Right

Over the last couple of years, I've had several conversations about "being missional." Most of us intend for missional to mean living out the mission of Jesus. When we apply it to churches, it becomes "service." Rarely does it really mean that a church would actually try to live out the incarnational mission of Jesus. ...but when a church really does that - it deserves applause.

The Austin American Statesman is reporting of one such event and a church called Vox Veniae. They've just purchased a former nightclub - what's missional is what they plan to do with it.

Kudos - you can't see it or hear it maybe, but I'm applauding...
