Vacation...

So I'm on vacation for a few days in sunny (or cold) an Francisco. My blogging may be a bit erratic - here's a mind dump of a post...

• If you want to see more pics, you might check out the Whitmire Family Blog - as soon as I get bandwidth, I'm posting some great snaps of the kids and the ocean/bay
• Hotwire rocks! They didn't pay me to say that, either! I've been a fan of their low price travel methods for a while, but this trip solidified them as a clear favorite... We've planned almost every leg of this journey by them - tomorrow we stay at a 4 star in downtown San Francsico for $80 a night :) I saved my Mom-in-Law $60 last night on her room...lol
• I need to give a shout out to the Holiday Inn Express at Sausalitto/Mill Valley. We've been here a couple of nights and they have been stellar. They also gave us a free night!! They basically moved our reservation back a night due to our canceled flight junk... They didn't have to be nice, but man, they were and they rock!
• We went to the Tennessee Valley beach yesterday with the whole crew. It's about a 3 mile hike - my boys such whiners... But they loved playing in the ocean!
• A Caffe Americano is great wherever you happen to purchase one! And David, I found the coolest hidden gem of a coffee shop and bakery in Mill Valley. I had to speak Italian to order :)
• Today we are taking the ferry into San Fran for a couple days... Peace out!
