The Statesman Phoenix Article ...or is it a blog?

Eileen Flynn from the Austin American Statesman called me up a few weeks ago and interviewed me about Phoenix - and then she actually showed up for our first service. She wrote about her experience in a blog entry on the Statesman's website this week. I'm not sure if it will make the print version or not... I think she did a pretty good job with the article, "Keep Church Weird," and overall she was complimentary. I particularly appreciated that she "gets" what Phoenix is trying to do to reach people. She also quoted me fair - which was really nice! It would have been awesome for her to have been blown away - but it was the first service... Maybe she'll keep coming - now that would make Church weird!
